Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Card Meridian (“Card Meridian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, or using the service after these Terms are posted, you agree to them and to the incorporated Privacy Policy, Subscription Policy, and AI & Market Disclosures.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you use Card Meridian for a business, you represent that you may bind that business. The service is currently offered to users in the United States.

Card Meridian provides tools for organizing sports-card and trading-card collections; uploading and storing card images; identifying and matching cards; reviewing market listings, verified sales evidence, modeled estimates, and trends; importing and exporting data; and receiving AI-assisted collection, market, and grading insights.

Features, data sources, limits, pricing, and availability may change as the product develops. Features may be incomplete, temporarily unavailable, or changed with appropriate notice. We may correct data, suspend unreliable integrations, or withdraw a feature when necessary to protect users or the service.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. One person or business may not create accounts to evade plan limits or enforcement.

We may require email confirmation, additional verification, or updated policy acceptance. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access for fraud, security risk, abusive conduct, nonpayment, or material violation of these Terms.

You retain ownership of card photographs, spreadsheets, notes, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant Card Meridian a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, resize, analyze, and display that content solely to operate, secure, improve, and support the service and provide the features you request.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s rights or law. Do not upload confidential documents, payment-card data, government identifiers, malicious files, or images unrelated to the service. You may delete cards through available controls; limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, or legally required retention.

Card recognition, catalog matching, Meridian Grade, market values, trends, and buy, sell, hold, or grade signals are estimates generated from available images, user-entered details, third-party data, and automated systems. They may be incomplete, delayed, incorrect, or affected by lighting, image quality, card variation, condition, counterfeit items, sparse sales, fees, and market volatility.

Card Meridian does not professionally grade, authenticate, appraise, broker, or insure cards. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PSA, SGC, BGS/Beckett, CGC, TAG, eBay, Fanatics, or any other grader or marketplace unless expressly stated. The service may rely on third-party authentication, hosting, AI, payment, catalog, marketplace, analytics, and pricing providers. Their data and availability are outside our control and may be subject to separate terms. Links and marketplace results do not constitute endorsement. Card Meridian is not a party to transactions you conduct with a seller, buyer, grader, marketplace, or payment provider.

If you connect a marketplace seller account, you authorize Card Meridian to create or update listings and retrieve orders, fees, refunds, and fulfillment information within the permissions you approve. You must review every listing before publication and remain responsible for its title, images, description, condition, price, policies, inventory, taxes, shipping, returns, buyer communications, and compliance with marketplace rules and law. Synchronization may be delayed or fail; you must verify marketplace inventory directly before relisting or selling a card elsewhere.

You may not misuse the service; access another user’s account or collection; bypass security or plan limits; scrape or bulk extract data except through authorized exports; reverse engineer protected portions of the service; upload malware; disrupt integrations; submit unlawful or infringing content; use automated access without written permission; resell Card Meridian data or outputs; or use the service to deceive buyers, sellers, graders, or marketplaces.

Reasonable personal and internal business use is allowed within your plan. We may investigate abuse, rate-limit requests, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with lawful requests.

Access requires a Collector or Meridian Pro subscription unless Card Meridian provides administrative access. Paid plans automatically renew until canceled. Prices, billing periods, included usage, trials, taxes, refunds, payment failures, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation are governed by the Subscription & Cancellation Policy and checkout terms shown before purchase. Card Meridian will charge only after you affirmatively select a plan and complete checkout.

Card Meridian and its software, branding, interface, workflows, compilations, scoring methods, and original content are owned by Card Meridian or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Third-party names, images, and data remain the property of their respective owners.

Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CARD MERIDIAN DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UPTIME, IDENTIFICATION, AUTHENTICITY, GRADES, VALUES, SALES, RETURNS, OR THAT A RECOMMENDATION WILL BE PROFITABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARD MERIDIAN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR CARD VALUE; OR LOSSES FROM A PURCHASE, SALE, SUBMISSION, SHIPMENT, GRADING RESULT, MARKET MOVE, DATA ERROR, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CARD MERIDIAN DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Card Meridian from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, or transaction with a third party. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Card Meridian’s own unlawful conduct.

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access as described above. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions intended to survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective. Export important collection data before closing your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, claims must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Virginia, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution.

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through the service, by email, or by an updated effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, it will apply prospectively where required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
